Currently, there are four main directions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sitola.cz\/wordpress\/projects\/multimedia-distribution-and-processing\/\">Multimedia processing and distribution<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sitola.cz\/wordpress\/projects\/advanced-data-visualizations\/\">Advanced data visualization on scalable resolution displays<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sitola.cz\/wordpress\/projects\/parallel-numerical-algorithms-and-simulations\/\">Parallel numerical algorithms and simulations<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sitola.cz\/wordpress\/projects\/complex-network-analysis\/\">Complex network analysis<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--\nThe main integrating topic of the research in the laboratory is <b>collaborative environements<\/b> with special attention paid to network-centric collaborative systems. The other areas related to the collaborative environments,\n--><\/p>\n<p>However, we have a long history in the related research areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Virtualization of both computers and networks.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fi.muni.cz\/research\/networks\/scheduling.html.en\">Scheduling for distributed systems.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Haptic interactions.<\/li>\n<li>Security in heterogeneous computer network environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Currently running grants the laboratory participates in:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2014-2016<\/strong>, Czech Science Foundation GA14-33143S &#8212;
